Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Rounds. Using the service means accepting them. If you do not, do not connect an account.

What the service is

Rounds runs routines you define on a schedule. A routine reads from accounts you connect, asks a language model to write something in the shape you specified, and delivers it to destinations you added. It is operated by an individual as a personal project, offered to a small number of people.

Your account

You must be at least 16 and provide accurate sign-in details. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your connected accounts or your routines do. Do not share your account with someone you would not hand your inbox to, because that is effectively what it is.

Connected accounts

By connecting an account you give Rounds permission to access it as described on the privacy page, for the purpose of running your routines. You must have the right to grant that access. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it stops the routines that depend on it. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the services you connect.

Acceptable use

Do not use Rounds to:

• access an account or data you are not authorised to access;
• send unsolicited bulk mail, or impersonate anyone;
• break the law, or the terms of a service you have connected;
• attack the service or work around its limits, permissions or authentication.

What the briefs are, and are not

Briefs are written by a language model from material a routine gathered. They can be wrong. A model can misread a thread, miss a message, state something with more confidence than the evidence carries, or record a wrong fact that later rounds then build on. Rounds is built to make this visible rather than to pretend otherwise: every round shows what it actually read, memory rows carry their sources, and contradictions are surfaced instead of silently resolved. Even so, check anything that matters before acting on it.

Nothing Rounds produces is legal, financial, medical or professional advice. Drafts it writes are drafts, and nothing is sent to anyone except a destination you configured.

Third parties

Rounds depends on other services, listed on the privacy page. Their behaviour and availability are not under its control, and your use of them remains subject to their own terms. You supply your own model API key and are responsible for what that key is charged.

Availability

There is no uptime commitment. Rounds may change, break, or stop, and scheduled rounds may be late, skipped or fail. A round whose scheduled time has passed by more than its catch-up window is recorded as skipped rather than run late. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

No warranty

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or missed opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free service is nothing.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by disconnecting your accounts and asking for deletion at alex122287@gmail.com. Access may be suspended or ended if these terms are broken, or if running the service is no longer practical.

Changes

These terms may change. The date above changes with them, and material changes are sent to connected users by email before taking effect. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, and disputes belong to the state and federal courts located there.
